I’m so excited for this music festival that starts next Tuesday Feb.23 till Mon March 1st. I just got my tickets to see !!! (CHkchkChk) who I highly recommend if you’re into some kick ass, heavy bass lines enveloped in psychadelic sound effects. They are the founding members of the D.O.R. (dance oriented rock) movement along with LCD soundsystem and the Rapture and a must see; they are legendary live performers. Other highlights include Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Cat Power, Four Tet, Rogue Wave, Magnetic Fields, and the Ghost of Saber Toothed Tiger (Sean Lennon, Charlotte Muhl, & Cornelius) performing at venues all over SF. This is gonna be a jam packed festival, and if you’re in the bay area check it out.
